Power premiership player Stuart Dew, who retired from AFL football at the end of the 2006 season, has today nominated for the NAB AFL Draft.
Dew, 28, is a life member of the club and has had a wonderful ongoing working relationship with the club – in a marketing capacity – since ending his AFL career.
Power General Manager – Football Operations, Peter Rohde said that the club had no issue with Stuart’s change of mind one year on.
“Everyone is entitled to change their mind,” Rohde said.
“As a club we have moved on and our list has changed and developed.”
“As far as Dewy goes, we will look at every player who has nominated for the draft and pick the best player available for our club at the time.”
