Rob Treharne from Movember helps kick start the month at the PAFC

November is Movember at the Power as players and staff go about growing weird, wonderful, and patchy moustaches in aid of men’s health.

Teaming up with joint major sponsor, Vodafone, the Power are supporting what has become an international charity event, raising millions of dollars every year for prostate cancer and male depression.

Last year ‘Team Modafone’ broke records by raising more than $100,000, and with the Power’s support, will be hoping for another great result in 2008.

The mo-growers are Peter Burgoyne, Shaun Burgoyne (last year’s winner of best Power player mo), Michael Pettigrew, Brendon Lade, and Steven Salopek, and staff members Chris Caporaso, Andrew Fuss and Daniel Norton.
