Surjan started 2010 in good form and managed the first 13 games of the season as the Power’s key small defensive stopper before a knee injury ruled him out for the final nine games of the year. Off-season knee surgery has interrupted the dogged defender’s pre-season. When fit, he remains a key cog in the club’s defensive unit.
