Power Playground

Round 15 opening time: TBC

Once again, we’re bringing you the biggest and best kid zone in the AFL at every home game in 2017!

This year, the ALL NEW Power Playground will be located in the Eastern Plaza!

A wonderland of black, white and teal featuring brand new entertainment, games, fun activities and giveaways, live children’s shows, inflatables, mascots, face painting, player appearances, signing sessions, a jukebox - plus more!

Footy Island will also be open for our youngest fans aged two to six. Located just inside the oval at the Eastern gates (access only from within the oval), Footy Island will have a huge bouncy castle, kick the games, arts and crafts and best of all –a large TV screen so parents can watch the game live while the kids have fun in a safe and secure area!

It’s never been easier to take the kids to the footy and enjoy a family day out at a Port Adelaide game.

March from the Mall

The March will take on a new route and starting point in 2017, due to restrictions around the Adelaide Festival Centre redevelopment.

Supporters are encouraged to meet on the north eastern corner of King William Road and North Terrace, just outside Government House.

The March will then head down the eastern side of King William Road, before crossing over the bridge and into the Eastern Plaza of Adelaide Oval via Victoria Drive (with police escort).

Parking, transport and security

Security
Adelaide Oval patrons are being advised to arrive early for all future events due to an increase in security measures.

Additional security staff and search technology will be present at entrance gates and other key locations this weekend by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority in response to the incident in Manchester. Patrons are being asked to remember five key things ahead of their next visit to Adelaide Oval:

1. Arrive early:
Increased security measures will have an impact on the time taken to admit patrons into the stadium. Please allow an extra 20 minutes and don't leave your arrival to the list minute.
2. Be patient:
Security inspections take time, so please understand it will likely take a little longer to move people into the stadium.
3. Limit the number of bags you bring:
Each bag has to be inspected, so the more you bring the longer it will take. Please prepare your bags for inspection by staff.
4. Cooperate with staff at all times:
Adelaide Oval's security and event staff are doing an important job, so please help them by being cooperative at all times.
5. Be the stadium's eyes and ears:
If you see something you think is suspicious, immediately inform Adelaide Oval staff or police.

Festival Plaza Redevelopment

If you're heading to the footy at Adelaide Oval this weekend, here are some tips to help you get around during the Festival Plaza redevelopment:
- Allow extra time - arrive at least one hour before the game
- If you're arriving by train, the northern entrance of the Adelaide Railway Station will be closed. Please use the North Terrace exit instead or better yet, join us on the March down King William Road!
- The shortcut via Station Road is also currently closed

Road Closures
War Memorial Drive will be closed from several hours before the game starts.

For further information about road closures and parking restrictions, please see here.

Parking
There is extremely limited parking available at Adelaide Oval. However, the club has partnered with UPark to offer members a bargain season footy parking pass at selected UPark locations, starting at just $77 – click here for more info.

Transport
The MAC Footy Express will again operate in 2017 to Adelaide Oval and is free on game day for supporters with a membership card or game day ticket.
