VETERAN West Coast Eagle Andrew Embley will miss Saturday’s third round NAB Cup encounter with Port Adelaide.

The Eagles wingman injured his right hamstring midway through the opening term of West Coast’s 20-point loss to Collingwood on Sunday evening.

Due to overwhelming demand our Adelaide Oval seat hold guarantee has been EXTENDED until 5.00pm on March 15. Click here to buy your 11-game season ticket and secure your seat at Adelaide Oval 2014.

While Embley is likely to return for the Eagles before the start of the season, his absence from this weekend’s match in Alice Springs will be welcome news for Port Adelaide supporters searching for the club’s second win in the pre-season.

Meanwhile Adam Selwood who was rested from the Collingwood loss may return against the Power.

Selwood was a late withdrawal on Sunday after a reported “knock” at training saw him stitched up and replaced by Jacob Brennan.

Both the Power and Eagles will name their teams for Saturday’s clash on Thursday.
