PORT ADELAIDE has selected Jarman Impey with selection 21 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft.

The 177cm Impey is a utility who can play forward or back and is the second Murray Bushrangers player to be selected by the Power in as many years, following Tom Clurey who was taken with pick 29 last year.

Impey finished in the top ten in all three vertical jump tests at the NAB AFL Draft Combine in October and is regarded as a damaging player at stoppages who is composed with the footy.

South Australian Mitchell Harvey was taken with pick 45 in an important local recruiting coup for the Power.

The North Adelaide draftee is a 197cm tall forward with good overhead marking capability and an accurate set kick who booted ten goals in five matches during the NAB Under-18 National Championships.

Oakleigh Chargers medium defender Darcy Byrne-Jones was chosen with pick 52.

A player with elite speed and endurance for his age, the 180cm Byrne-Jones is regarded as a competitive player with a relentless attack on the football.

With its final selection - pick 68 - the Power drafted Sandringham Dragons medium midfielder Karl Amon.

A 180cm left-footer, Amon is another good overhead marker with endurance capacity who played for Vic Metro during the Under-18 championships.

Port Adelaide SANFL talent Sean Lemmens was drafted by the Gold Coast Suns with pick 27. Lemmens played in the South Australian Under-18 championships side and made his league debut in the SANFL late this year.
