POWER Community Ltd, the community development arm of Port Adelaide Football Club, has supported National Youth Week in three local councils over the weekend.

National Youth Week kicked off around Australia on Friday April 4 and Power Community Ltd supported events coordinated by the local councils of Salisbury, Playford and Port Adelaide Enfield. The week is designed to provide young people aged 12-25 with an opportunity to share ideas, showcase their talents and celebrate their contribution to the community.

The State Launch of National Youth Week took place at the Northern Sound System at Elizabeth where Power player Campbell Heath spent time participating in various activities with youth from the region. Campbell, who turned 23 on April 1st, was impressed with the Sammy D Foundation’s Great Night Out Bus, and encouraged the audience to enjoy a good night out without alcohol and violence.

Our participation in National Youth Week is one of many activities we have planned in the north and we thank the councils of Salisbury, Playford and Port Adelaide Enfield - we are kicking goals together.
