WEST COAST'S Darren Glass has been suspended for one match by the AFL Match Review panel following his fourth quarter hit on Chad Wingard on Saturday night.

Glass was charged with a Level One engaging in Rough Conduct offence, which carries a 125-point or one-match sanction.

Due to his poor previous record, it can only be overturned by a successful appeal to the AFL Tribunal.

His conduct was assessed by the MRP has reckless (two points), of low impact (one point) and body contact (one point), resulting in four activation points and the classification of a Level One offence.

Wingard was sent to hospital for precautionary scans following the incident and was cleared that night.

He will be available to play Geelong on Saturday.
