PORT Adelaide meets Richmond on Sunday at Etihad Stadium, with the Power looking to bounce back from two losses on the trot.

portadelaidefc.com.au investigates who’s in the mix for selection for both sides.

Port Adelaide
Paul Stewart and Andrew Moore will both return from injury this week, but it’s likely they’ll do so through the Magpies in the SANFL.

Hardnosed defender Tom Logan and prolific midfielder Ben Newton have been in excellent SANFL form and continue to push their claims for a spot in the Power’s starting 22.

With Alipate Carlile still at least one week away, Ken Hinkley and the coaches will need to decide whether they need an extra key back, or whether they’ll stick with the structure which lost narrowly to the Bombers in Round 16.

Should Hinkley decide he needs an extra tall, defender Tom Clurey and forwards Mason Shaw and John Butcher will come into the mix.

Richmond
Defender Steven Morris will return to the side after serving a one-game suspension for two incidents in Round 15.

Former Power midfielder Matt Thomas, who was a late withdrawal against the Lions, is expected to prove his fitness and return to the side, as should Nick Vlastuin, according to AFL.com.au.

The Tigers have a largely healthy list, meaning competition for spots in the first 22 is fierce. Sam Lloyd, Liam McBean and Matt McDonough all impressed in the VFL last weekend and will push for a spot against the Power.
