ANDREW Moore will play his first AFL game since injuring his shoulder in Round 11 after being named in Port Adelaide's Round 19 team.

He'll join Alipate Carlile and Angus Monfries in returning to the Power's lineup to play Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.

Preview: Round 19

Kane Mitchell, Jake Neade and Karl Amon have been named as emergencies.

Senior coach Ken Hinkley told  portadelaidefc.com.au Moore's impressive showing for the club in the SANFL Showdown last week was enough to earn his selection in the Power's final team.

"A couple of injuries - the last one being his shoulder when we played Melbourne in Alice Springs - have kept Moorey out of our side this year," Hinkley said.

"He's played just two games back in the SANFL, but last week's performance was a standout.

"He had over 30 disposals, kicked three goals and played that game like an AFL player - he certainly earned a place in the team with that performance."

Although the Power rarely plays at the MCG, Hinkley is confident the ground will be familiar to this weekend's side after playing two finals there last year.

"The ground will feel familiar, it's an exciting ground for the boys to go and play at, any time you get to play at the MCG is a great opportunity,"

"We hope to be able to demonstrate our style on a ground that we think suits our game plan.

"Collingwood are trying to get into a more significant position than the one they're in, just as we are, so we expect a really tight, tough game of football.

"We'll need to deliver four quarters of really good football if we want to get a positive result."

Port Adelaide plays Collingwood at 4:40pm (AEST) on Sunday 3 August.
