Former Port Adelaide midfielder-turned-Sturt star Zane Kirkwood has won the 2014 Magarey Medal. 

Port Adelaide SANFL captain Steven Summerton was the highest-polling of 14 Magpies to draw votes from the umpires throughout the year. 

Summerton polled in nine of the club's games to lead the vote-getting at the end of the night and finish third overall, behind Kirkwood and South Adelaide's Joel Cross.
