CRAIG McKay was at the G to see Port Adelaide’s heartbreaking loss to Hawthorn in the Preliminary Final.

As he has done all year, McKay gives us his top five from the Prelim Final.

Matthew Broadbent
I thought this was close to his best game of footy and I had him as our best player on the night. The way he attacked the ball at 100%, rarely fumbled and was able to get it forward was first class and I thought he started a number of our forward attacks. He's been a touch inconsistent throughout the year, but hopefully next year we can see him play at this standard for more of the season.

Travis Boak
Was a monster around the stoppages for four quarters and was one of the keys in getting us back into it. I thought his opponent worked well off him and was arguably their best player. He left everything out on the park as he always did. Loved some of his work wide on the wings at times as well. Well in our best players.

Robbie Gray
Once again he stood up when we needed him in a big game. You could make a case for him being best on ground in the last 7 matches we've played which is a phenomenal effort. Was an absolute beast in finding space at the clearances again and used the ball well going forward. 3 goals was great reward and he kicked some pressure goals as well. One of our best, as he has been all year.

Angus Monfries
Was great to see him have such a good game in a pressure final. I know a lot have had question marks over his year but there is no doubt he worked through his rough patch and his injuries and came good at the right time. Kicked 4 pressure goals and was one of the real keys in getting us right back in it at the death there. His defensive work was outstanding as well.

Jasper Pittard
Thought it was another in a string of good games through the second half of the year. One of our best actually and once again showed quite a cool head whilst many others around him were struggling
