THE club’s membership phone system is currently down due to lightning strikes which occurred over the weekend.

Telstra are currently working to restore the service as soon as possible, but at this stage, there is no timeline as to when this work will be completed.

Membership manager Ben Demertzis said the member services team was focusing on responding to the hundreds of emails received over the weekend while the phone system is down.

“Our members have been really understanding and we’re just asking them to bear with us while we sort the phone system out,” Demertzis said.

“Call and email volume has been extremely high since we sent 2014 members their renewal emails on Friday.

“Members can still renew their membership online at weareportadelaide.com.au using the account details we emailed through on Friday.”

New members can also sign up online at weareportadelaide.com.au.

The most common questions being asked via email and over the phone were to do with the reserved seat membership wait list and seat change requests.

Wait list
With all reserved seat memberships currently allocated, members and supporters wishing to acquire a reserved seat membership must join the Wait List.

To join the wait list, supporters will need to purchase an 11-game membership and pay an annual administration fee to hole your place in the wait list queue.

You must join by 30 January 2015 to be eligible for any seats that do become available.

Seat change requests
For existing members who are wanting to make changes to their seating arrangements for 2015, they’ll need to fill out a Seat Change Request form and select one of the following changes. - Retain your current seat, but upgrade member category
- Retain your current membership category, but move seats
- Upgrade or downgrade your member category
- Combine two groups of reserved seat members in the same area
- Transfer membership to another person
- Retain current seat (s) and add Wait List member(s) to your group
To have your Seat Change Request accepted, all required information must be completed on the form including signatures and returned by email or mail by 19 December 2014. Phone requests will not be accepted.
