1. Marchin'

Because not only is it decent exercise, but it's definitely become a tradition for this footy club. The March from the Mall will be bloody good in Round 2!

2. ANZAC Round

Over 100 of Port Adelaide's league players have served in conflict since 1915 and when you take into consideration all of the club's other officials, 'B' club players, members, supporters and all the other men who fought from local footy clubs, that's a lot of people prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice. The club has some big plans in store for ANZAC weekend with both Friday (SANFL) and Saturday (AFL) night games at the Oval.

3. Travel

There's plenty of opportunity to get a sneaky holiday into your life this year with the Power playing in almost every state and territory around the country (sorry ACT and Tassie). Whether it's sunning yourself in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast (hopefully no monsoonal rains like last time), getting your Melbourne on in one of our five games over the border, making a long weekend of it when we play the Swans mid-year, hopping over to Perth for the season-opener or going bush for our game against the Dees in Alice Springs, there's probably a getaway to suit everyone this year.

4. SANFL night footy

That's right Karl, and we're pumped too. We know there's plenty of Port Adelaide AFL night footy this year, but there's also three games under lights in the local league too. The Maggies' first game for the year is against the Panthers, ANZAC Eve is against Norwood at the Adelaide Oval and then the Bays host a night thriller at the back end of the year. That local footy feeling is still strong and with more and more fans getting to Port's SANFL games last year (the third most since 1997), there's set to be another great year for locals around the metro area.

5. Membership records

It's gonna happen, and sooner than you'd think.

6. Debutants

You've got your Wingards, your Wineses and your Impeys from the past couple of years - they're first draft choices - then you've also got those value gems like Sam Gray and Tom Clurey who came into the side in 2014 to play important roles. There's plenty of talent deep in the Power's list. Whether it's called on or not, we're pretty keen to see it in action.

7. Thursday night footy

Fingers crossed for late night celebrations, even if it means making a miraculous recovery the next day.

8. NTUA

Just because.

9. Adelaide Oval

We've seen the plans, and it will be another very special year. Watch this space.

10. Footy

Saving the best 'til last. It's the world's greatest game and we're hoping for a pretty fun, exciting (and winning) 145th birthday year.
