LOGAN Austin is free to play trial games after recovering from shoulder surgery undergone in the off-season.

He’ll be available to play this weekend, most likely for Port Adelaide’s SANFL trial against the Crows at Alberton on Saturday morning.

Hamish Hartlett, Jarman Impey and Andrew Moore will be reviewed at training this week to return from respective groin, hamstring soreness and a corkie.

The Power is expected to play a strong side against the Crows, as its final hit out before the season proper commences on the Easter long weekend.

Head of high performance Darren Burgess says the Power will be conservative with the trio before match committee during the week.

“Jarman and Moorey pulled up pretty well from the weekend and Hamish is tracking nicely too, but we’ll play it conservative given its still only trials,” Burgess said.

“We’ll keep a close eye on them at training before making a call for this weekend.”

Also shaping up for a return in the coming weeks are Jackson Trengove, Chad Wingard and Sam Colquhoun.

Colquhoun is a real chance to return within the next fortnight, having been slated for review at training next week.

Trengove and Wingard are both on par with their rehabilitation programs, and are at least another week away.

“We’re really happy that Sammy’s in a spot where he could be back in 11 months, not the usual 12,” Burgess said.

“He’s been really good through his rehab, but like with everyone coming off a knee [surgery] we need to check every box.

“Probably another week for him.

“Jacko and Chad are about where we’d expect them to be for their recovery.”
