CHAD Wingard and Jackson Trengove will undergo final assessments at training this week to determine their readiness for full-flight football.

The Power plays Fremantle at Domain Stadium on Sunday night, and the pair –coming off rehab periods extending back to early February – will train with the Power’s main group this week.

Port Adelaide’s head of high performance Darren Burgess is confident the duo have ticked all the recovery boxes.

“Their rehabs have progressed as we’ve hoped, they’ll train fully this week and will hopefully be in a position to put their hand up for selection,” Burgess said.

Hamish Hartlett will be available to play Fremantle after recovering from a groin problem suffered against West Coast in the Power’s first NAB Challenge game.

Sam Colquhoun, too, has finally been cleared for action after an 11-month rehabilitation from a knee injury.
