The Port Adelaide Football Club has investigated an incident involving a supporter and Hawthorn coach Alistair Clarkson outside the team hotel following Saturday night’s game at Adelaide Oval.

The supporter has been identified and is not a Club Member and this matter is now in the hands of South Australian Police.

Port Adelaide released a spectator code of conduct in June 2014 reinforcing its commitment to creating a safe, comfortable and exciting game day experience for all Members and supporters and opposition players and coaches.

As part of the spectator code of conduct the club will not tolerate any form of intimidation toward opposition supporters, players, coaches, volunteers and officials.

Any Member that breaches the Port Adelaide spectator code of conduct risks having their Membership revoked permanently.
