KANE Cornes polled a vote from the coaches in his 300th and final AFL game against Richmond on Sunday.

Cornes and Jack Hombsch were the only Port Adelaide players to poll in the AFL Coaches Association votes for the Round 8 clash.

Hombsch was awarded two votes in a highly defensive game, leading the side with 17 kicks and 12 marks – as well as a solid performance on key forward Ben Griffiths.

Cornes had 28 disposals and laid 6 tackles in his final game, and also restricted Trent Cotchin to 17 disposals.

Nathan Fyfe from Fremantle maintains his lead on the AFL leaderboard with 68 votes, with Sydney’s Dan Hannebery second with 46 votes.
