JARMAN Impey will remain at Alberton for another three seasons, after signing on until the end of 2018.
Port Adelaide’s first selection in the 2013 AFL Draft, Impey debuted against Carlton and has since chalked up 22 career games for the Power.
He received a NAB Rising Star nomination for his impressive performance on Fremantle forward Hayden Ballantyne in Round 8 last year, and has been given a number of roles against important damaging opposition players.
Impey’s signing follows further long-term commitments from Matthew Lobbe (until 2019) Robbie Gray (2018), Jared Polec (2018), Karl Amon (2017) and Darcy Byrne-Jones (2016) since December last year.
“I’m really enjoying my time at Port Adelaide, everyone here has made me and my family feel part of the club from day one,” Impey told portadelaidefc.com.au.
“I’m very excited to be at Alberton and I’m just going to keep working hard to improve my game and do whatever I can to help the club.
“I didn’t know that much about the history here when I arrived but I just love that part of the club now and the way it supports the community through all its different programs.’’
Impey recently returned to Port Adelaide’s side after recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in Round 2.
