FOOTBALL returns to Alberton Oval this Sunday afternoon following the league-wide bye as Port Adelaide hosts Glenelg in Round 8 of the SANFL IGA League season.

Fifth-placed Port Adelaide hosts the tenth-ranked Tigers in an important game for the Magpies, looking to match the top placed sides Norwood, Woodville-West Torrens, and West Adelaide.

SANFL PREVIEW: Magpies v Bays

The club will have a number of Women’s Round themed stalls in the Bob Quinn stand from 2:15pm until the end of half time including those from Love and Decoration designs, Savannah Candles, Beanie Babe, Sprinkle Some Sparkle, Phil Hoffman Travel and Designs by Kimberley.

As the only Port Adelaide fixture in town this weekend, with the club’s AFL side playing away in Alice Springs on Saturday, it’s a great opportunity for families to get down to the club’s spiritual home ground and watch its SANFL talent take on its big rival of the 1980s.

The club’s Academy team will play at 11:25am before the League take on the Tigers at 2:10pm.

Tickets cost just $14 for general admission, $8 concession and children under 18 are free.
