JACK Hombsch has polled the maximum five votes in the Wok in a Box Fans’ MVP Award for the round 8 match against Richmond.

Polling in the fans MVP for the third week in a row, Hombsch had 22 possessions and led the side with 17 kicks and 12 marks, offering a reliable outlet from defence in arguably his best game of the season.

Fans can log onto fansmvp.portadelaidefc.com.au after each round and cast 3,2,1 votes for the players they judge best afield. These votes are then scaled to award five votes to the player with the most votes in that round, four votes to the player with the second-most votes and so on.

Captain Travis Boak was the leading possession getter for both sides with 32 disposals, earning four votes from the fans. The remaining vote getters were Kane Cornes (three), Robbie Gray (two) and Angus Monfries (one).

Gray remains at the top of the overall leaderboard on 22 votes, while Hombsch has raced into equal second position with Brad Ebert on 14 votes.
