Port Adelaide
A rested Port Adelaide faces Adelaide in the SANFL 'Showdown' this Sunday, off the back of the Magpies’ bye.

With no danger of losing players to the AFL side due to the Power’s own bye this week, there are several in the mix to hit the field against the Crows.

Three Magpies are set to return from injury and will be available for selection.

Karl Amon has spent the past two weeks sidelined with a calf complaint, but this week has been declared fit to hit the field.

Paul Stewart has recovered and will also be available after aggrevating a hamstring during the Power’s clash against Geelong.

Young first-year player Logan Austin has been eyeing a return to the SANFL in the Port Adelaide-v-Crows clash since injuring his groin several weeks ago; he’s been tested and confirmed available this Sunday.

Brendon Ah Chee, Andrew Moore and Kane Mitchell all earned an AFL recall last week, playing with the Power against Carlton at the MCG and won't be available for Sunday's game.

The Crows’ SANFL side could see two AFL-level players in the mix to return from injury this week, in defender Jake Lever and young midfielder Brad Crouch.

Lever has been out for two weeks with an ankle complaint, while Crouch has been battling with a fractured foot obtained in the NAB Challenge against the Power.

According to Crows conditioning coordinator Matthew Bode, Crouch experienced soreness in the foot while making his return in the SANFL against Sturt before the bye, and has once again been in recovery.

“Brad Crouch had a bit of a scare last week with some foot soreness,” Bode told afc.com.au.

“He had some scans and they, thankfully, came back with no bone damage. He’ll have a good week on the track and is expected to play.”

Crows defender Ricky Henderson is likely to back in the Crows’ side after an impressive performance against Woodville West Torrens last week. He earned 27 possessions and 89 per cent efficiency in his first game back for a month following a back injury.
