PORT ADELAIDE’S injury list is shortening, but only one player is a chance to come back this week.

Jasper Pittard will undergo a fitness test at training, although the Power’s head of high performance Darren Burgess is keeping his options open.

WWL: Power will win through blue collar footy

“He’s getting close, but whether he’s good enough to against St Kilda will depend on how he gets through training this week,” Burgess said.

“I’m confident that he’s just about there, but we also have to take into account the long term with him as well. He’s probably 50/50.”

Tall forward Mason Shaw is still 1-2 weeks from returning to the SANFL as he progresses through groin rehabilitation, while Alipate Carlile is working to a similar timeframe to recover from back issues.

Upgraded rookie defender Nathan Krakouer has been put on the slate as a two-week prospect to return from the hamstring injury that sidelined him from action this week.
