JAY SCHULZ will be tested at training this week to determine a possible return against Fremantle for the final game of Port Adelaide’s season.

The Power hosts what looks to be an undermanned Fremantle on Saturday, with Schulz to be reviewed to return from the back injury that kept him out of Port’s win over Gold Coast last weekend.

“Schulzy missed due to his back and we’ll see how he goes at training,” Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

While Schulz remains a chance to play in the Power’s final game this weekend, the club’s young ruck-defender Bill Frampton will miss this weekend’s first SANFL final against West.

Frampton missed the Magpies’ win over West Adelaide on Sunday, and will be at least another week out with a minor knee complaint.

“We obviously want to be careful with Billly’s management given his age, unfortunately he had some knee trouble out of the Maggies’ game against South and we decided to hold him over from last Sunday,” Burgess said.

“He’ll be a chance for the week after in the semi-finals, but we’ll review him again next week and see how he’s tracking.”
