2004 PREMERISHIP hero Jarrad Schofield has coached Subiaco to back-to-back WAFL premierships, helming the Lions to a 66-point romp over West Perth at Domain Stadium on Sunday.
Schofield, a member of Port's first AFL premiership before returning to his home state of Western Australia, took over the top job at Subiaco for the 2013 season.
'Schoey' remains a firm connection with the club, often attending Power games in Perth and his son Taj representing the club as junior mascot in Port's 2014 semi final against Fremantle.

Port connections win big in SANFL, VFL
West Adelaide's drought-breaking premiership featured several Port Adelaide connections, with former Power player Ryan Willits and rookie Daniel Webb playing in the Bloods' 30-point win over Woodville-West Torrens.
The Bloods were coached by Mark Mickan, who was an assistant coach for Port Adelaide in 2005 before joining Glenelg.
Hamish Hartlett's elder brother Adam also played in the team after bouncing back from injury last week.
Meantime in the VFL, Williamstown has defeated Box Hill to secure its 15th VFA/VFL flag, with former Port Adelaide AFL and SANFL player Mitch Banner on the wing.
