There are plenty of forward options throughout Port Adelaide's list. The loss of Angus Monfries sees the Power lose 200-odd games of experience, but will create a competitive environment for its younger attack dogs to push for a spot.
Assumes the primary ruck burden with Paddy Ryder's suspension halving Port's experienced ruck stocks to one. Lobbe would admit not meeting his best footy in 2015, but has worked hard on the track to recapture the elite form he exhibited in 2014.
In his first year at Port Adelaide, Frampton played half the SANFL season as an aggressive ruckman. There's still a long road to go in his development, but he might be called on to provide support if required.
The swingman can play a variety of roles and rucking is one of them. Can provide support up forward or take the ruck outright.
Like Westhoff, Trengove can provide support as a pinch-hitter down back, but also around the ground.
Dixon comes into the Power as its tallest player and capable of taking the main ruck contests. Will serve an important role as a primary forward who can shoulder the ruck up forward.
