Player of the Week

Louis Sharrad
In my mind, he was the most influential player on the ground. Eight clearances, nine inside-50s, ran and took the game on. Played tough.

Player reviews

John Butcher
Fought back well after a quiet first quarter. Competitive in the air, brought our small forwards into the game. Kicked 3.2.
Tom Corcoran
Played his role. Used the ball well, needs to continue to work on aggression in his aerial contests.
Logan Austin
Did a good job on Harvey. Really aggressive positioning. Would’ve been a very good game if he was cleaner with his marking.
Nathan Rudloff
Must congratulate Nathan on a solid performance in his first League game.  Performed well and I like his competitiveness and aggression.
Sam Colquhoun
Didn’t stop working - huge run-and-carry game. Played with great energy and made good decisions with the ball.
Tom Gray
A quiet game for Tom, didn’t stop trying all day though.
Sid Masters
Defensively good – solid one-v-one. Eliminating turnover kicks is his challenge going forward.
Luke Reynolds
Kicked five goals and also set up a number of others. Very good game.
Steven Summerton
Really owned his wing. Used the ball well and set up a lot of our scoring opportunities.
Kane Mitchell
Huge running game for Mitch, great work rate. Was clean inside with 10 clearances and two goals as well.
Anthony Biemans
Liked the mix of him, Sharrad and Snelling on ball. Was aggressive once again - had the most tackles on the ground.
Cam O’Shea
Solid from Cam - high possessions and was clean with everything he did.
Robbie Young
Started the game really well. I love his energy, speed and pressure on the opposition.
Aidyn Johnson
Unfortunately hurt his hamstring right on half time. Did some really good things up until then. Played tough and took the game on when he had the ball.
Cameron Hewett
Cam is continually improving. Was used all over the ground, does things that really catch your eye.
Jono Ross
Played more forward this week and competed really well in the air and was tough and clean on the ground.
Riley Bonner
Sets up a lot of our play from defence. Very confident guy who loves taking the game on with his run and kicking ability.
Jesse Palmer
Not big numbers but once again, as he always does, Jesse played an important role. Plays tough and competitive footy and brings his teammates into the game.
Will Snelling
Really good game. Six centre square clearances, played tough inside footy, and took the game on kicking two really impressive goals.
Dougal Howard
Gave our mids first look at it in the centre square, and had a strong impact forward kicking two goals.
