KEN HINKLEY de-briefs from the Power's big win over the Demons in Alice Springs.

On the Power's recent run...

I think last week was really positive for us - the way we went about it - even though we missed in the end.

We were playing a pretty good side and were pretty strong right to the end.

I though today we built on that again. We still made some mistakes - no doubt about that - but I felt we were pretty honest for four quarters.

On the midfield...

I think it's been undersold how good they've been; Michael and Buddha and the boys, over the last four or five weeks.

We've come up against some big rucks, some dominant rucks and that just shows your grunt, and you're prepared to stay down and dirty.

On effort...

We haven't got an enormous amount of top-end talent, I don't think, on display most weeks, we're just pretty solid.

If we bring the same intensity and effort, we'll become a bit more consistent.

We're still five-and-five, we're no better than that.

On Alice Springs...

We love coming up here, it's a big, open ground and gives us some room to move. The boys took some easier options that set us going and then they were able to put the game where they wanted to. We took 80-90 marks, which we haven't done this year. That's good for us.
