After an outstanding 2008 where he finished third in the best and fairest, the mercurial forward showed moments of brilliance again last season - 22 goals from 11 games - but missed most of the second half of the season with a fractured ankle. After a delayed start to pre-season as a result of post season surgery on his ankle and shoulder, the Power are hoping he will return to his 2008 form where he displayed amazing goal sense, an ability to take a spectacular mark and a capacity to cause great defensive pressure in the forward line through his unrelenting chasing and tackling.
