While many Power players were down in 2008, Cassisi had his most consistent season, finishing a career-best second in the best and fairest. Can be relied on to restrict one of the opposition’s best midfielders every week, but also wins a lot of the footy himself – he averaged 22.7 possessions a game last year. Also led the Power in tackles and centre clearances.

Draft history: 2000 National AFL Draft 4th round selection (Port Adelaide) No. 50 overall.
