Won the Gavin Wanganeen Medal as the club’s best rising young talent after overcoming shoulder surgery to finish with a career-best 16 games. The competitive midfielder was fifth at the club for total kicks (210) and his efforts were recognised with an equal-seventh placing in the best and fairest. Again underwent shoulder surgery at the end of the season but, at 21, is expected to keep improving and will be a permanent fixture of the team for years to come.
