Became the youngest player (at 20) to win the John Cahill Medal as best and fairest, sharing the honour with Travis Boak. Has developed into an elite defender and is able to help out in the ruck as the need arises. Led the club in one percenters (122) and was third for marks (104) and handballs (192). Re-signed towards the end of 2011 and has again been named in the club's leadership group for 2012.
