The former Woodville-West Torrens forward played 71 games for Richmond over seven seasons until he fell out favour after contributing only four games last season. The Power, who have been keen on trading for Schulz for a couple years, engineered a trade with Richmond for Mitch Farmer during last year's AFL exchange period. Despite being used in both defence and attack at the Tigers, the Power are keen to develop the 193 cm Schulz into a tall forward marking option.
