Cornes endured another injury-interrupted season last year and will be hoping off-season surgery on his knee and finger will have him fit and firing each week in 2010. Will return to his role in defence – where he has been named All-Australian in the past – and will add much-needed experience to the young defensive unit. Expect to see his trademark rebound from defence and cut-out mark return in 2010.
