The #4 draft pick in the 2008 National Draft debuted in Round 4 at the MCG against Hawthorn. It surprised many that he didn’t earn a NAB Rising Star nomination with a 23 possession, 11 mark game highlighting just what he was capable of delivering on the big stage. Playing 11 games in his debut season, Hartlett has suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season that derailed an otherwise impressive off-season, but it is anticipated that he will continue his strong development in 2010.
