A leading light of Port Adelaide’s youthful midfield, Travis Boak continues to show why he is so highly regarded around the Club. 2009 saw Boak play a further 18 matches, bringing his total to 49, but it was what he did in those 18 games to so excited Port Adelaide fans – he showed an ability to both win ball in traffic and deliver it as an outside midfield, and he wasn’t afraid to get physical, with a heap of hard tackles stopping opponents in their tracks.
