After a breakout season in 2009 where he finished third in the club’s best and fairest award, Chaplin will be looking to take the next step this year and become a leader in the backline. Has the ability to play a variety of roles – both tall and small, and at times, run-with – and provides great rebound from defence (led the club in rebound 50s – 66).
