Power Future Fund

Russell Ebert waves off a West End Outback Odyssey participant

The Power Future Fund is an evolution of the PAFC Foundation. The PAFC Foundation was formed in 1998 as a separate company and fundraising arm of the PAFC. This body was sanctioned by the SANFL and a separate board, chairman and management group were charged with the responsibility of ensuring its success.

In its infancy, the sole purpose of the PAFC Foundation was to raise the $4.5 million to finance the building of the club’s world class training and administration facility, the Allan Scott Power Headquarters. This goal has been achieved and the club is now privileged to operate out of this state-of-the-art facility.

More recently the operations of the PAFC Foundation have been transferred in to the operations of the Port Adelaide Football Club, it's name changed to Power Future Fund and it's now overseen by a management committee.

The new purpose of the Future Fund is to secure the financial future of the PAFC. All funds raised are directed in to carefully chosen investments with a view to building a powerful financial future for the club and providing new annual and sustainable revenue streams for the PAFC.

The Power Future Fund has grown to become one of the leading sports fundraising bodies in Australia that prides itself on its ability to run innovative and highly successful fundraisers that generate significant funds.

The diversity of activities run under the banner of the Power Future Fund include:

  • Car lottery
  • West End Outback Odyssey
  • Fishing Safari
  • Golf Paradise tour
  • Bequest program
  • Chairman’s club
  • House Project
