Mark HaysmanMark Haysman started as chief executive on 20 October 2008.

Mark was previously employed at Lion Nathan Australia where he was a Regional Director for the past three years and was in charge of operations in South Australia, the Northern Territory, Victoria and Tasmania.

Steven WeinertSteven Weinert joined the club as Chief Financial Officer in July 2008 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2009.

Steven was previously Commercial Manager at the Jeffries Group of Companies. Prior to that, Steven spent over 10 years working in various commercial and operational roles with Pernod Ricard (formerly Orlando Wyndham). Steven is a qualified CPA and also holds a Masters Degree in Commerce.

Rob Nelson - Manager, Marketing & Consumer Business

Rob Nelson took on the role of General Manager - Commercial Operations on a permanent basis on 16 March 2009 and transferred to the role of Manager, Marketing and Consumer Business in late 2009.

Rob initially took on the role late in 2008 on secondment from his previous position as General Manager - Partnerships & Strategy at the SANFL.

Prior to the SANFL Rob has held senior executive positions in Surf Lifesaving, Sydney Olympics, Australian Major Events and Rugby Union. Rob also holds a bachelor of business in Sport Management from Victoria’s Deakin University.

Evan Arnold - Corporate Partners & Capability Manager

Evan Arnold joined the Club in November, 2009, and leads the Corporate Sales and Event Management teams.

Evan has an extensive background in the corporate business environment having held leadership roles with Lion Nathan and most recently with Fosters in both Victoria and South Australia. Evan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the Univeristy of Adelaide.

Evan also posesses a strong sporting bacground having represented South Australia in cricket and Amateur Football.

Geoff Dodd - Media & Communications Manager



Geoff Dodd started as General Manager - Communications on 14 January 2009.

Geoff’s background is in state and federal politics, having worked with Democrats leaders Cheryl Kernot and Meg Lees during the ‘90s, and more recently with the Premier’s Media Unit and within the state government in South Australia.

Geoff is a strategic communications expert, having been responsible for all aspects of daily media advice and issues management in his previous roles, and dealing with multiple stakeholders.

Peter Rohde - Football Operations

Peter Rohde Peter Rohde joined Port Adelaide in 2005 after three years at the Western Bulldogs. Peter is responsible for all things football working closely with the coaching staff, planning, running and facilitating match committee and review meetings.

Peter has vast experience at senior level playing 46 games for Carlton between 1985-1987 and 54 games for Melbourne from 1988 - 1991. He was Senior Coach at the Western Bulldogs from 2002 - 2004 after coaching at Norwood where he won the SANFL Premiership in 1997.

Mark Williams - Senior Coach

Mark Williams Mark Williams was appointed Senior Coach of the Port Adelaide Football Club in September 1998.

Mark originally joined the Power in July 1996 as Assistant Coach to John Cahill after leaving his post at Windy Hill in Melbourne where he was, for almost two years, Assistant Coach to Kevin Sheedy at the Essendon Football Club.

Mark was All Australian in 1980 and the first South Australian to play 200 AFL day games. He played 135 games for Collingwood, captained the club from 1983 to 1986 and won the Copeland Trophy (Best & Fairest Award) in both 1981 and 1985. He played 66 games for Brisbane and was vice-captain from 1987 to 1990.

Mark played 173 games in the SANFL including 111 games with Port Adelaide from 1979 to 1980 and 1990 to 1992, and was a member of our 1979, 1980, 1990 and 1992 premiership sides. As senior coach, Williams led the Power in 2004 to its first AFL premiership.

Amber Brooks - People & Culture Manager

Dr Amber Brooks began in the role of People & Culture Manager on 23 June 2009.

Amber is a registered psychologist with extensive organisational development expertise in leadership development, organisational design, behavioural and psychological assessment/development, people & culture strategy development, coaching, workshop design and facilitation, counselling, research and survey design and statistical analyses.

She has developed these capabilities through roles at Lion Nathan Limited where she has been Culture & Change Leader SA/NT, since May 2005, and prior to that was at Locher Human Resources from August 2002 through to April 2005, as Manager Organisational Development and prior to that Organisational Development Consultant.

Matthew Richardson - Special Projects Manager

Matthew Richardson began in the role of Special Projects Manager in July 2009.

Richardson joins the Power after five years as Chief Executive of the Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club and three-and-a-half years prior to that as the club's Marketing Manager.

Richardson was also a founder of sports management business athletes1, and worked previously with the South Australian Cricket Association in various game development roles prior to joining the Magpies.
