TRAVIS Boak has taken out the Fans MG MVP vote for Round 8 in Port Adelaide’s gutsy win over the Western Bulldogs.
Boak had 30 disposals, 14 contested possessions and 10 score involvements in what was his 100th game at Adelaide Oval.
He topped off his night with a classy set shot from the boundary line, pushing Port Adelaide’s lead to double digits in a critical moment during the third term.
This is the third time he has claimed the maximum votes this season, keeping him at the top of the Fans MG MVP Leaderboard.
Taking out second place was 100-gamer Sam Powell-Pepper, who continued his strong early-season form with two goals and four score involvements.
Powell-Pepper’s toughness and determination was on full display in his milestone match, much to the delight of the Adelaide Oval crowd.
Powell-Pepper sits second overall in the voting, ten points clear of third-placed Todd Marshall.
Rounding out the votes this week was Todd Marshall (3rd), Jeremy Finlayson (4th) and Connor Rozee (5th).
Port Adelaide now shift its attention to Round 9 where the side will travel to Tasmania to take on North Melbourne.
