LACHIE JONES could be available for selection for this week’s trip to Melbourne to face Collingwood.

A hamstring injury has sidelined Jones since he was subbed out of the loss to Fremantle in Round 16.

The 20-year-old has progressed well through rehabilitation and will aim to train fully on Thursday to come into the selection mix.

Defender Dan Houston will be unavailable as he enters the mandatory 12-day AFL concussion protocol. Houston was subbed out at three-quarter time of Saturday evening’s match against Geelong after being unable to continue following a knock to the head in the third quarter. Houston will look to resume light training later this week as he continues to recover.

Ruckman Scott Lycett will again be unavailable to play as he continues a course of antibiotics, after the clean out of an infection in his shoulder.

Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name its side to face Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday.
