IN: Roberts, Teakle, Aldridge, Wildman, Sareen, Jackson

OUT: Fantasia (Inj), Wilson (Concussion), Sinn (Inj), Hayes (Suspended), Georgiades (AFL), Mead (AFL), Dumont (AFL), Lord (AFL)

INJURIES and suspension have forced Port Adelaide into several changes for its SANFL game against South Adelaide on Sunday.

Ruckman Sam Hayes’s one-match ban for striking during last week’s loss to Sturt means the 205cm big man will watch the match from the sidelines alongside defender Josh Sinn and forwards Orazio Fantasia and Anthony Wilson (concussion).

Fantasia and Sinn won’t play again this season as they deal with ongoing quad and groin injuries respectively.

The Magpies have also lost Mitch Georgiades, Jackson Mead, Trent Dumont and Ollie Lord, who have been named among an extended 26-man AFL squad for Sunday afternoon’s meeting with Essendon in Melbourne.

Mid-year draftee Brynn Teakle returns to the SANFL line-up after a week in the AFL while Hugh Jackson is back after overcoming illness.

Also named in the line-up for the trip to Noarlunga are Kye Roberts, Dylan Aldridge, Aryan Sareen and Campbell Wildman - last season’s Anthony Williams Memorial Trophy winner as best SANFL contracted player.

Port Adelaide won’t finalise its AFL side for the game against the Bombers until Friday afternoon but any AFL emergency not required for that game at Marvel Stadium will be able to play for the Magpies.

Sunday’s game against South Adelaide will get underway at 1:35pm.
