DOM CASSISI will be assessed ahead of the Power's Round 21 match against Gold Coast having pulled up from last Saturday's game with hamstring soreness.

Port Adelaide's high performance manager Darren Burgess confirmed the veteran defender will have precautionary scans after battling hamstring problems this season.

"Dom pulled up fine after the game but then felt some discomfort in the rooms," Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

"He will have scans tonight (Monday) and we'll assess him later in the week."

Brett Ebert will spend between two and three weeks recovering from a hamstring injury.

Ebert suffered a reoccurrence of the injury a fortnight ago.

Depending on the progress of his rehabilitation, he could return for Port Adelaide's final SANFL games.

"Given Brett's history with injury, particularly this year, we'll continue to progress his rehab slowly and cautiously with a view to him returning as soon as possible," said Burgess.

Jack Hombsch and Paul Stewart are now at least three weeks away from a possible return from injury.

Dom Cassisi - hamstring soreness (assess)
Brett Ebert - hamstring (2-3 weeks)
