PORT ADELAIDE enters Friday night's semi final against Geelong with a clean bill of health from its elimination final win over Collingwood.

And the news gets better for the Power with Paul Stewart making his long-awaited return from a wrist injury sustained against the Crows in Round 19.

Stewart played for Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL on the weekend and amassed 26 disposals, eight marks, five tackles, and eight inside 50s.

He could be considered for selection this week.

Speedster Kane Mitchell continues to be managed for a back injury suffered at a training session before Round 23.

He will monitored again at training this the week.

Ben Newton was a lat,e precautionary withdrawal from Port Adelaide's SANFL win against Glenelg on Saturday afternoon with a back complaint, but has been cleared of serious injury.

Darren Pfeiffer also suffered a slight shoulder injury playing for Norwood on Sunday.

He could be free to play in two weeks with the Redlegs not playing in the first week of SANFL finals.

"Newton was withdrawn ahead of the (SANFL) game but should be fine," high performance manager Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

"He would have played this week had the Magpies' season not finished up.

"Pfeiff has a slight shoulder injury and will be tested at training."
