But the Redlegs-Magpies blockbuster will now standalone with the game to be played on Thursday 3 April.

It retained the original starting time of 7:40pm and will be broadcast simultaneously on the Seven Network's digital channel, 7mate.

That means the game also features as the first televised game for the SANFL's new broadcast rights partner.

Port Adelaide is currently finalising its list of 15 senior players ahead of this weekend's initial trial game against the Panthers at 9:45am on Saturday morning at Alberton, before two more practice fixtures against Central District and North Adelaide before the home-and-away season kicks off in April.
