SAM COLQUHOUN will have scans on Monday to determine the extent of a knee injury he sustained in the fourth quarter of Port Adelaide's 58-point win over the Bloods on Saturday.

Colquhoun was carried from the ground on a stretcher after attempting a kick in the closing stages of the game.

But while the 19-year-old was only stretchered off as a precaution, the club will await the outcome of the scans before providing any further information on his injury.

The defender was among the Magpies' best on Saturday until the injury, finishing with 31 disposals and five rebounds.
