Defender Jarrod Lienert will be sidelined for around two months after having an arthroscope on his right knee. 

The successful surgery on Tuesday was to repair the meniscus in his knee joint. 

Lienert had been pushing for his debut AFL game with outstanding form for the Magpies this season. The 23-year-old was the Power’s travelling emergency for the Round 4 clash with Essendon in Melbourne.
