PORT ADELAIDE will play six Saturday night games including four at the Adelaide Oval as part of the 2019 AFL fixture released by the AFL on Thursday.

After having just one Saturday night game in 2018, it’s a big fixture change-up for the Power.

Port Adelaide will also play three Friday night games in a row, against West Coast in Perth on the night of Good Friday, North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval in Round 6 as part of the ANZAC Round and then grand finalist Collingwood at Marvel Stadium in Round 7.

The Power will play four games in a row at Adelaide Oval, starting with a Round 14 clash with Geelong. In Round 15 they host the Western Bulldogs, before meeting the Crows in an away Showdown in Round 16, and finishing the month stint in Adelaide with a clash with the Lions in Round 17.

Port’s Round 9 match with Gold Coast is subject to a date and time change, pending the need of Marvel Stadium for the A-League grand final. If Marvel Stadium is unavailable, Port’s clash will swap days/times with Essendon v Fremantle.

Among the Power’s other fixture highlights, it will host the first Showdown of the season on a Saturday night in Round 8, it will take on St Kilda in Shanghai on a Sunday afternoon in Round 11 and it will finish the season at home against Fremantle.

Here is a quick rundown of the key points:
