THREE Port Adelaide players have been selected in this year’s realestate.com.au AFLX 2019 Draft held on Wednesday evening in Melbourne.

Robbie Gray was picked at 15 by Bolts captain Patrick Dangerfield, while Travis Boak (27) and Sam Powell-Pepper (41) will also be involved in the new and fun match day experience.

Powell-Pepper will join Eddie Betts at Deadly, while Boak will play alongside Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe at the Flyers.

AFLX is a new and different version of Australian Football that has been designed to take the traditional game of AFL from an oval ground to rectangular field.

The concept allows the AFL to explore playing the game in other regions, nationally and internationally, where oval green spaces are an issue.

AFLX will still contain and showcase the unique and most thrilling aspects of the game, with some great new rules as well.

The tournament will be held on Friday February 22, from 7.00pm AEDT at Marvel Stadium, with the Seven Network and Fox Footy broadcasting it nationally. The games will also be available live via AFL.com.au and AFL Live App.

Each team will play for prize money to be donated to the nominated charities.

The realestate.com.au AFLX 2019 tournament’s winner will receive $30,000 for their nominated charity, with the runner-up receiving $10,000 and the remaining two teams each receiving $5000 for their charities.
