The club, through its official travel partners - RAA, Phil Hoffmann Travel and Tee Lee Travel - have some fantastic packages available for anyone traveling to Shanghai in 2019.

Today, utility Justin Westhoff shares some inside knowledge about his experiences in Shanghai.

What is your favourite memory from your time in Shanghai? The whole experience of playing the first AFL game on Jiangwan Stadium in 2017, it was an unreal experience. The build-up was really different and it was nice to contribute to a good win for the side.

Favourite place to get a coffee in Shanghai? There was a place around the corner from where we were staying called Lanna Coffee that was pretty good.

Something you’d recommend to other people visiting Shanghai/China: Travelling on the Subway to the Shanghai markets. It’s easy to use and a different experience, and there is plenty to check out at the markets.

What is your go-to Chinese dish? I’ll take any type of dumpling. I’m not fussy.
